The Copyright Agreement of the International Social Research Nexus (ISRN) outlines the terms and conditions for authors submitting their work for publication. By signing this agreement, authors confirm that their submission is original, has not been published elsewhere, and does not infringe on the rights of others.
Key aspects of the agreement include:
- Originality & Ethical Compliance: Authors declare that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and does not contain defamatory or unlawful content.
- Copyright Transfer: Upon acceptance, all copyright is assigned to ISRN, allowing the journal exclusive rights to publish, distribute, and archive the work in any format.
- Author Responsibilities: Authors confirm they have obtained all necessary permissions for copyrighted material and have sought approval from their institution, employer, or research committee if required.
- Co-Author Consent: In multi-authored papers, the corresponding author ensures that all co-authors have agreed to the publication and copyright terms.
- Editorial Rights: The journal retains the right to edit and format the article for publication suitability.
- No Liability & Indemnification: Authors accept full responsibility for any claims arising from copyright breaches and agree to indemnify ISRN against legal actions.
- No Refund Policy: In case of article rejection by institutions or indexing databases, authors cannot seek refunds or legal recourse against ISRN.
- Publication Rights & Removal Clause: ISRN holds the right to remove any article in case of proven copyright infringement claims.
By signing the Copyright Transfer Agreement, authors officially grant ISRN the rights to their work while ensuring broad dissemination and protection against unauthorized use.
For submission, authors must print, manually sign, scan, and email the completed copyright form to editor.isrnjournal@gmail.com.
